We are eyeing to appoint a Director Business Development – Staffing/Executive Search. As a strategic Director, you will build local and regional market position by locating, networking, developing, negotiating and closing business relationships with the clients. This is a highly visible revenue-generating role and you will act as the key contact point driving business for the company. This role will carry a dual portfolio of developing new business as well as deepening relations with existing key clients. Role and Responsibilities:
- Local/Global Customer Handling with Corporate clients / SME’s / MNC’s and Start-Up’s / Management Consulting Firms.
- Keeping update with market trends, contract negotiation and relationship with global and local clients on a regular basis.
- Hands-on work experience in the Executive Search/Staffing industry with regional/global coverage for headhunting senior level candidates.
- Account development experience with a track record of exceeding sales quota, demonstrated and proven record of success and achievement in prior recruiting roles is essential.
- Ensure a great customer/partner experience and owning the business, delivery strategy.
- Proven success in highly-leveraged executive search including business development, partner management, revenue generation, reporting and business planning for recruitment solutions.
- Strong experience in client acquisition and success in building strong customer base, customer education & consultative selling of recruitment solutions.
- Define and implement sales and promotion strategies, contract terms negotiation with the clients and providing 360-degree recruitment services.
- Provide the strategic vision, and forecast potential and future sales pipeline monthly/quarterly.
- Strong knowledge of trends in the staffing industry, formulation of strategy/direction of the services and solutions is highly desirable.
- Extensive hands on experiences in the search, selection and delivery for senior leadership roles on various job portals like Linkedin, strong network and referral channel at CxO levels.
- Execute various search assignments at mid to senior executive levels and successful placements with various clients in different industry and regions.
- Create innovative staffing solutions to expand the addressable total market opportunity in Asia.
- Responsible for the profit / loss and market share of the new/repeated business with clients.
- Manage funnel/pipelines short to long terms with leads generated by Sales, Partners and through demand generation program and update the management on a regular basis.
- Shape and execute local/global partner engagements with the clients, cold calling, prospecting new clients and fetch repeated business with existing clients.
- Experience in a new venture or start-up is highly desirable, ability to deal with unforeseen situations and ambiguity is a must have trait in this role to be successful.
- Develop, lead and manage a strong sales-oriented recruitment team in an agency environment.
Technical Experience:
- Expert knowledge in any of the following industry/domains – Financial Services, Insurance, IT-Technology & Telecom, Management/Strategy Consulting, Healthcare/Pharma, Automotive/Mobility, Oil & Gas/Power & Utilities, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity/Venture Capital, Consumer Goods & Retail, FMCG, Online/e-Commerce & Internet, Airlines & Travel, Transportation & Tourism, Logistics & Supply Chain, Shipping & Maritime.
- Search methodologies, headhunting for passive and senior level candidates, Client development and management
- Business Development – Actively involved with new and existing clients for new and repeat business
- Candidate Search, Interviewing, screening, video/face to face interviewing skills, negotiation, deal closing.
Role & Manageability:
- Positive individual & team management, self-motivation and self-starter with go getter attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and provide results in a highly competitive market
- Planning and executing business strategies with the management in the region
- MBA or Business Graduate, Management degree will be an added value
- Excellent Microsoft office Skills, Strong communication and presentation skills at CxO level
- Entrepreneurial spirit and able to work under pressure will less or no supervision
- Finding new markets and research on new client/business as well as meeting regular customers, prospect leads and generate new clients/markets for the company in the region.
- Business planning skills, multidimensional, presentation of proposals, POC’s for business growth, analysing & reporting skills are mandatory.
- Stakeholder management for senior management internally and externally and reporting to management for all sales and business developments efforts on a weekly/monthly basis, making recommendations to the management.
- Negotiation skills and ability to frame the services & solutions value proposition to customers/partners, negotiating terms of business with major local & international clients for business contracts.
Lead generation and follow-ups:
- Ability to shoulder the responsibilities and team work with a result-oriented can-do attitude
- 100% accuracy in all contact information, sales leads, revenue declaration & deal closure
- Full accuracy of all scheduled prospecting and sales activity, increase sales for all product lines
- Providing sales forecast to the management and penetration of new clients/markets to expand and increase market share, stay ahead of the competition.
